For Homebuyers

The Houston Land Bank can connect you with a new quality affordable home through two different programs meeting a spectrum of affordability. And there’s help available for qualified homebuyers from the City of Houston’s down payment assistance program and through Houston Community Land Trust, which can help keep your property taxes from rising too quickly.

The Houston Land Bank sells property to builders and developers at a discount to encourage construction of new affordable homes for qualified homebuyers. Our new pilot lot release is underway, and we look for qualified builders annually.
