1. Projects that will advance community revitalization
2. Projects that will address climate and environmental justice actions
3. Projects that will leverage other resources for public good
HLB is seeking applications for free assessments and planning support for brownfields redevelopment projects.
HLB is specifically accepting applications for the eligible brownfields project activities.
Site Assessment/Due Diligence
Phase I, Phase II ESA, asbestos survey, lead-based paint screening, cleanup planning
Community Engagement
Request a presentation to your community organization on topics of brownfields redevelopment, environmental liability, or how to incorporate brownfields into community planning.
Special Projects/Area-wide Planning
Specialty projects, like area-wide planning, inventory support, corridor studies, and health surveys, require consultation with Houston Land Bank
